About Clearminds Therapy and Counselling

My name is Carolina Yepes. Clearminds Therapy and Counselling is my private practice. I offer Psychological Therapy to adults who are experiencing a range of difficulties. I have expertise in various psychological therapies which enable me to adapt therapy to suit your style and particular needs. My work is to a high professional standard. I am caring, compassionate and very approachable. I value and respect each person and bring a non-judgmental attitude to all my work.

I am also a Reiki Master. Reiki is a nice and gentle form of healing. It can help to bring balance and harmony to your mind and body. When I have given Reiki people say it is a very peaceful experience. I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist qualified form the University of East London. I have seen how Reiki can enhance the experience of change of patterns or issues that may be causing distress. I also practice and teach Mindfulness Meditation, which combined with Reiki is a great way to manage stress. Having a Reiki session is a lovely way to nurture yourself.

My training, work experience and any achievement

I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist qualified form the University of East London. I am registered with the Health Professionals Council (HCPC) and I am an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS); I am also registered with EMDR UK and Ireland Association and the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapists (BBCP). Being a member of these organizations means that I have to abide to high professional standards and Ethical Code, including keeping my knowledge and experience up to date. I have over 16 years of experience as a therapist, working for the NHS and privately.

In terms of Reiki. I completed Reiki level I and II and about 14 years ago received Reiki III- Masters Degree; then 7 years ago completed my Masters Teaching level. I follow the Usui method and lineage. I use Reiki regularly in my personal life and offering it to friends, family and pets. I also work with individuals and take part in Reiki share groups.
